The LAT team is busy building out public programming that will include tours, walks, talks and special moments with artists, starting in June and running for free throughout the year.

To help deliver and enhance these programs we will soon be launching the LAT Art Guide Program, a unique opportunity for current college and university students to learn and present information about the Art Trail and Biidaasige Park. The 2026 summer Art Guide cohort will be supported and mentored to enable them to speak confidently about newly commissioned public artworks, describing how they respond to, and are integrated into, the park site. Art Guides will also offer expanded insight about how the artworks were developed and fabricated, as well as encouraging visitors to engage with specific projects that allow for participation.
